Established in 1988, the Association is a private and non-profit making.

The Association operates to carry out the duties of Administrative Secretariat and study of Maritime Agreements and whatever other administrative duty which could be entrusted it by Own Members.

The Association is formed by Shipping Enterprises adhering to one or more Maritime Agreements listed below, which avail themselves of the same Association for their activities.
